Ministry of Health UAE (MOH)
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOH) is the UAE’s federal health authority, responsible for national health policy, licensing healthcare providers, running public-health programs (e.g. vaccinations, screenings), and regulating drugs and medical devices across all seven emirates.
Key Functions:
- Policy & Regulation: Develops national health strategies and regulates healthcare facilities.
- Healthcare Services: Manages federal health centers and hospitals.
- Public Health & Prevention: Conducts vaccination campaigns and health awareness programs.
- Pharmaceutical & Medical Device Regulation: Monitors drugs and medical devices.
- Medical Education & Research: Supports continuous medical education and health research.
